a family of New York gallerists. From Jackson Pollock in the 1950s to
Warhol, Banksy and beyond for the 21st century, Pollock Fine Art brings
the masters to the discerning collector.
Established in 1998 from a modern house in Primrose Hill, Pollock Fine Art has been behind the scenes working directly with private collectors as well as top galleries worldwide.
Selected exhibitions include Warhol vs Banksy, Hans Bellmer & other Surrealists, After Munch, Peter Blake & the first U.K. show of Bjarne Melgaard held at Sketch.
The Warhol vs Banksy exhibition, held in association with The Hospital boasted 15,000 visitors in three weeks and equally overwhelming press response.
Established in 1948 on N.Y.\'s thriving 10th st., the Peridot Gallery was an early supporter of American avant-garde art. It staged both Louise Bourgeois & Philip Guston\'s first one-person shows as well as the American premiere exhibition of Medardo Rosso. The Peridot also hosted groundbreaking theme shows, such as Sculpture by Painters with Jackson Pollock. The Peridot Gallery contributed greatly to establishing the Hirschorn Collection in Washington DC as well as selling Alfred Barr for the Museum of Modern Art, it\'s first Louis Bourgeois, at the insistance of MArcel Duchamp !
